Antje Kassel

Antje Kassel is the founder and owner of Cassel Communications, a communications consultancy in Düsseldorf specialising in healthcare and chemistry. On the basis of a solid medical education (nurse), journalistic training as a graduate journalist (University of Dortmund) and many years of professional experience as a medical and agency journalist (including dpa, epd, Westdeutsche Zeitung, Die Zeit), Antje Kassel has gathered experience all areas and challenges of healthcare communication personally in a medium-sized biotech company, in a pharmaceutical group (Bayer AG) and at the chemical park operator Currenta (joint venture of Bayer AG and Lanxess Deutschland GmbH), professionally designed and largely responsible.

“Everything stays different” could also be the motto of the Düsseldorf-based company: for her, communication is the most beautiful profession in the world, because it is constantly changing and requires new solutions every day. What drives Antje Kassel is communicating news and progress in research and development, pharmaceuticals, medicine and health in the right place at the right time for the benefit of patients and for a better life. She enjoys passing on her profound knowledge in the fields of media, communication and healthcare in the workshop of “Healthcare Communications” and looks forward to the specific questions participants may have.
